Personality types
There are literally hundreds of personality profile processes. They all tend to boil down to four basic types. I personally like the D, i, S and C explanations. But there are plenty of others that work for people. Here’s a short, humorous one to help you make the distinction: 4 people happen upon a room that is filled, wall to wall, with poop. The first person walks up and simply states: “What a mess. This room’s full of poop.” The second person walks up and says, “This looks like a 10 X 12 room, and the poop is two feet deep. That’s 240 cubic feet of poop.” The third person frets, sighs, and says, “My goodness, let me set about cleaning up this mess. I’m sure it was an accident. Someone needs my help.” The fourth person glances in and declares, “Ooh! There’s gotta be a pony in here somewhere!” First person = D: direct; bottom line; to the point; outspoken Second person = C: critical; analytical; detail-driven Third person = S: supportive; caring; nurturing; service and relationship-oriented Fourth person = i: life of the party; social and outgoing Hope that brought a laugh, and a little insight, to your day.

Someone even sent me a book on personality by blood type. Thanks for sharing the more layman’s version!
